Our campground in the Smoky Mountains is open all year long for your enjoyment! Whether you want to camp during the summer months to take advantage of the swimming opportunities in the Little Pigeon River, visit in autumn during fall foliage season, or take a winter trip for a simple change of scenery, there is never a bad time to experience the joys of the Smokies! Here is why each season is special at our year-round campground in the Smoky Mountains:

Winter

The nice thing about the Smokies is that the temperatures are generally moderate in the winter months, making it a great time to get away for a few days! While it typically only snows a few times a year at lower elevations, you’ll likely be treated to the sight of snow-capped mountains for some amazing photo opportunities!

Plus, our RV sites offer full hookup sites with water, sewer, electric, cable, and Wifi so that you can stay cozy and warm throughout your stay.

Spring

Spring is special at our year-round campground in the Smoky Mountains as it’s “wildflower season”, where you’ll see gorgeous blooming wildflowers in every direction! In fact, there are over 1,500 flowering plants that bloom throughout the Smokies each spring. The weather is starting to warm up in spring too, making it an excellent time to enjoy the great outdoors!

Take advantage of the delightful daytime temperatures to enjoy basketball, pickleball, and the other recreational opportunities at our campground. If you have young children in your family, they’ll have a blast running around on our playground or jumping around in the bounce house!

Summer

The summer months are a wonderful time of year to be in the Smokies, as long days of blissful sunshine offer extra time for all kinds of outdoor activities! The Little Pigeon River runs right alongside our campground, offering the perfect place to splash around and cool off on a warm summer afternoon.

If you want to explore outside of our campground, you’ll discover amusement parks, miniature golf courses, go-kart tracks, and just about everything else imaginable. Plus, there’s nothing better than ending your fun day with a barbeque or grilling out back at our campsite!

Fall

If you’ve ever visited the Smoky Mountains in autumn, it is easy to see why it is such an incredible time to experience the Smokies! The mountains are covered in gorgeous fall foliage, creating a breathtaking sight that you’ll remember for a lifetime. Autumn also offers crisp and cool weather, which is just perfect for hiking, sightseeing, and scenic drives with the windows cracked open!

Whether you’re squeezing in one more tent camping trip or staying in your RV, autumn is one of the best times of year to camp in the Smokies. In the evening hours, gather your family around the fire pit to make s’mores, tell ghost stories, and enjoy the ambiance of camping under the stars!
